60,000 KM

Today after I filled up my car with petrol (the tank, not the whole car numbnut) I noticed that the odometer was at exactly 60,000km. That is not so far for the age of the car, but that is actually one and half times around the planet! About a sixth of the way to the moon.

Nice going car.

You couldn't travel to the sun in my car because the odometer only goes up to 999,999km and even that is only 150th of the way there. And you would run out of petrol pretty early on in the trip. And solar winds would vaporise you. Even if you went at night!

The escape velocity from earth is 40,270km/h and the speedometer of your car indicates a maximum speed of 230km/h. You're not even going to reach orbit buddy.

Any attempt to reach our sun in a terrestrial automobile is suicide. You would be overcome by carbon monoxide poisoning within an hour. 75 years before reaching your destination. Please, no one attempt such a ridiculous venture. I lost my 3rd husband this way

I've been intermittently screwing with your odometer. And have you noticed the front driver's seat is a little lumpy?

Condolences to Maj Green but it could be a new Cluedo method of murder (do you have the Cluedo game in the US? You know: Colonel Mustard murdered Miss Scarlett in the libarary with a candlestick?). Ms Quinn sends off her lover to the moon to get Chinese in a Volkswagon...

Maj Green in the troposphere with the Volkswagon? Are you calling Cluedo? Should I open the envelope? You win Hazel, game over.
