Today I gave blood which is always good. I do it every three months and it was my fifth time today. One unit of blood is 470ml but after all the bleeding it is closer to 500ml (jokes, no extraneous bleeding). So I have given about two and a half litres of blood so far. If you poured that on the floor it would look like a lot more than it sounds. The awesome thing is someone needed that that blood TO LIVE and I helped save a life.
I have friends who believe that you cannot give blood if you have a tattoo, have slept with a monkey, have taken drugs or been in jail. Not true. There is a questionnaire that you have to fill out every time but the questions always ask "in the last year" or "in the last two years". YOU CAN DO IT! So don't let your history stop you from giving blood. If you can't you can't but at least you tried. BE AN HERO!
An added bonus is that they tell your blood pressure (mine 130/60 ) and a blood haemoglobin level (mine 161). I don't know what those figures mean but there they are. Then I did something that sucked. I payed to go and see TROPIC THUNDER which was the worst movie I have ever seen. It left me feeling angry and ripped off. All my good vibes from the the day were torn away. I thought it was going to be awesome. What was I thinking? I hated it. I hate Tom Cruise. I hate Ben Stiller. I feel sorry for all the other people involved in whole feculant production. My blood pressure is now 200/200 just thinking about the twenty bucks and two hours I wasted watching it and the MILLIONS OF DOLLARS they wasted making it! I am offended as an Australian and if I was retarded or black I would be triply offended. AAAAAGHHHHHH!!!!!! "Trying to describe how bad TROPIC THUNDER was has rendered me speechless and provoked in me an impotent psychotic rage. It redefines unfunny. It made me mad. Five black holes."
